We are hiring a full-time, permanent Sales Coordinator to join our growing team! We will consider both in-person and remote work arrangements.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in expanding our customer base through research and lead generation. Candidates must have previous long-term experience in a similar sales or business development-related role, successfully prospecting, qualifying, and securing new customers. This role will also include regular administrative support for the Sales Department. We are seeking an individual with a high degree of professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills, and innovative thinking.

Experience & Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales administrator, lead generation, or business development role required
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing or related program as an asset
  • Long-term experience using similar CRM software to log customer information and sales activity
  • An established sales network and successful sales tactics/methods
  • Tech-savvy, with knowledge of research, lead generation, and email marketing tools
  • Experience using MS Office programs, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • High degree of customer service skills, confidence, and professionalism
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organized and manages their time effectively
  • Strong documentation skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Team-oriented and demonstrated ability to collaborate with others

Sales Coordinator

Position Overview

Position Overview:

  • Reports to the Founder
  • Research and connect with prospective local, national, and international customers via phone and email, meeting assigned sales activity targets
  • Set-up and implementation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software
  • Update and maintain customer contact information in CRM
  • Review and qualify incoming sales leads before passing on to Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Assist with quotes and drafts follow-up
  • Generate and maintain customer email list
  • Share scheduled update emails and blogs to existing customers
  • Assist with distribution of company merch/swag to customers
  • Support of customer relations as directed by Founder
  • Collaborate with and support the Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales Department as directed by Founder
  • Accurate note-taking and documentation
  • Monitor and provide feedback regarding VTR Social Media pages
  • Remain informed of Sales team members’ schedules/calendars; Assist with scheduling for Sales team and Founder as needed
  • Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Other administrative duties and special projects as required

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, minimum 40 hours/week
  • Overtime as needed; Overtime paid after 40 hours

  • Flexible schedule during evenings and weekends to accommodate customers in varying time zones & priority tasks

Wage: $38.00-$41.00/hour depending on experience

Work Location: In-person at Grimsby, ON facility or remote

Work Conditions:

  • Temperature-controlled environment when on-site
  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to loud work noises when on shop floor
  • Prolonged sitting at desk/computer
  • CSA-approved safety Shoes Required when on-site
  • Hearing protection and safety glasses provided when required
