Experience & Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Project Management Role in a Manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management Principles
  • Experience using Celoxis Software
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines, managing conflicting demands
  • Commitment to quality and safety

Project Manager

Position Overview

  • Report to Office Manager
  • Develop project schedule adhering to the organization’s business strategy and customer requirements
  • Manage and update project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Complete all necessary project documentation and reports
  • Communication and collaboration with internal departments including Sales, Design, Assembly, Manufacturing, and Electrical
  • Monitor progress of project and ensure the project is meeting milestones
  • Provide team, customers, and key stakeholders with regular updates
  • Document project issues and work with the team to find a resolution
  • Manage project closure and evaluation
  • Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Other duties as required

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift – 8:30am start time

Wage: $40/hour depending on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

Grimsby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
